Overview
Events in the HSLC lecture halls can be digitally captured in Windows Media format. The Windows Media file is stored on the HSLC media server and can be viewed online and/or made available on CD.
The system captures the image being projected on the main screen along with the audio, which is captured using available room microphones. This capture can include items such as speaker/presenter, panel participants and Power Point slides. Please work with Classroom and AV Support prior to event for setup and orientation.
The requester is responsible for obtaining copyright clearance for any materials captured.
To guarantee capture, request for video capture should be made no later than 7 days in advance of the event.
Encoded files will be kept for 1 year from date of capture.
Encoding is limited to events occurring Monday through Friday from 7am to 5pm.
