The Health Sciences Learning Center (HSLC) is the primary instructional space for the School of Medicine's 1st and 2nd Year courses, the Physician Assistant Program and School of Nursing.   In addition, select courses from the School of Pharmacy and other Health Sciences programs rely on the HSLC for instructional space.   Therefore, these courses are given first priority status in scheduling HSLC space.   While every effort is made to schedule these courses in advance, last minute changes may necessitate moving other events.

1. Classroom Assignments will be made in this priority order:
1. Medical School (M1 & 2), PA Program and School of Nursing courses, (guaranteed space provided)
2. School of Pharmacy and Other Health Sciences Courses,
3. Student sponsored events,
4. Education-related events,
5. Hospital & Clinical Conferences,
6. All other events
2. Medical School (M1 & 2 courses + Admissions) receives priority for these classrooms:

   First Floor	1306, 1325, 1335, 1345
   Second Floor	2214, 2216, 2224, 2226, 2234, 2236, 2244, 2246, 2254, 2256, 2272, 2276, 2280, 2284, 2288

3. PA Program receives priority for these classrooms:

   First Floor

   1309, 1345

4. School of Nursing receives priority for these classrooms:

   First Floor

   1202, 1210, 1220, 1222, 1260, 1265, 1267, 1268, 1269, 1306, 1325, 1335, 1345, 2207, 2209,

5. If an unavoidable conflict occurs, the School of Medicine, PA Program, School of Nursing, School of Pharmacy and Other Health Sciences courses have bumping rights over all other events.   At least 7 days must be given for bumping requests.   Classroom & AV Services will make every effort to accommodate all parties.
6. All Courses (timetable & non-timetable) will be scheduled by timetable/course representatives.  
7. Learning Community Rooms 2272, 2276, 2280, 2284 & 2288 are reserved for Health Sciences student use when not booked for courses.
8. Rooms scheduled by Assessment Center Administrative Group:
1. Assessment Center Exam Rooms & Conference Rooms (1192 & 1188)
2. Learning Community "House" Rooms 2212, 2222, 2232, 2242 & 2252
3. Clinical Skills Lab & Classroom (1203& 1205)
4. Critical Care Lab (1209)
9. Distance Education Rooms (1225, 1229, 1244, 1248, 1254) are scheduled using this priority:
1. Events requiring videoconference or teleconference capability
2. Events listed in priority order from 1.
10. Alumni Hall (1306) events, besides those sponsored by Group A, must be approved by the Academic Deans of the School of Medicine and School of Nursing.
11. Training Room (2121) schedule is managed by Marie Koch (2-5993), priority given to events requiring computers.
12. General Reservations are made on a 60-day rolling horizon.
13. General Reservation requests beyond 60 days can be made, but must be approved by the Academic Deans of the School of Medicine and School of Nursing.
14. General Reservations are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
15. Room assignments are subject to change by Classroom and AV Services.
